First 30 Days on the Bag

You just bought gloves. Now let's make sure they get used. I've watched a lot of people buy gear, hit the bag hard for a week, burn out, and let the gloves collect dust. This is how you avoid that.
Thirty days. Three or four sessions a week. Simple progressions. By day 30 your hands will be faster, your gas tank will be bigger, and you'll actually know what you're doing on the bag.
The basicsStance

- Feet about shoulder-width apart, lead foot forward (left foot if you're right-handed).
- Back heel slightly up, knees soft, weight balanced.
- Hands up by your cheekbones, elbows tucked to your ribs, chin down.
- On every cross and rear hook, pivot on the ball of your back foot. That's where the power comes from.
Learn the languageThe punch numbers
Coaches call punches by number. Learn these six and every combo in this guide makes sense.
Every sessionThe template
Every session, every week, same structure. About 35 to 45 minutes total.

How to work a bag round
Don't just throw nonstop. Throw a combo, move, reset your guard, then throw again. Think in bursts: three to five seconds of punches, three to five seconds of movement. That's how real rounds feel, and it builds speed and gas tank at the same time.
Stay at about 70% power. Speed, form, and breathing first. Exhale sharply on every punch. Power comes on its own.
The programFour weeks, four colorways
Train three days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) or four (Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat, keeping Tue and Sat a little lighter). Missed a day? Don't stack sessions. Pick up where you left off.

Stance, balance, clean straight punches. Slow is smooth.

Add the hook. Pivot and rotate. Move after every combo.

Add uppercuts. Mix heights. Start putting some snap on it.

Put it together. Defend after every combo: slip, roll, or step out.

ProofFilm day 1 and day 30

On day 1 and day 30, film one 2-minute bag round on your phone. Same angle, same combos. The difference will surprise you.
Post the side-by-side and tag @stonestrikegear. I want to see it.
Day 31: what's next
- Same template, 3-minute rounds, 30 to 45 seconds of rest.
- Take a class at a boxing, kickboxing, or MMA gym. A coach watching you beats any guide.
- Ready to spar? 16oz gloves, mouthguard, headgear, and never without a coach present.

I started this brand because I train too, and I only sell gear I'd use myself. If your gloves aren't holding up the way they should, reach out. That's what the 30-day guarantee is for.
Now go put some rounds in.
